Two COVID-19 patients from Assam, Nuruddin and Jonab Ali who were being treated at Sonapur Civil Hospital, have tested negative twice as per the Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR protocols. They were discharged from the hospital and has been sent for a 14-day home quarantine.
As per reports, both the patients are from Morigaon district.

While confirming the recovery of the two patients, Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressed his gratitude towards the healthcare workers who have been working in the frontline against the disease.
