Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has taken aback the entire nation including politicians, film stars and sportspersons. The Bollywood star who started his career with the film Kai Po Che! was last seen in the movie Chhichhore. Ironically, his last movie dealt with how to battle suicidal thoughts.
Sushant, 34 was close to his late mother and recently shared his thoughts on Instagram by dedicating a post to his mother earlier this month. Sharing a black and white collage of his picture and that of his mother’s on June 3 he wrote, “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops. Unending dreams carving an arc of smile. And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two…”
Born in Patna, Sushant was a bright student who hold the seventh rank in DCE Entrance Exam. He was also a National Olympiad Winner in Physics and had a penchant for astronomy.
Sushant was a mechanical engineering student, who switched to acting with the TV show, Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and rose to fame after playing the lead role of Manav Deshmukh in the show Pavitra Rishta. After Chhichore he appeared in Netflix film Drive where he shared screen with Jacqueline Fernandez. His career flourished with films like Shudh Desi Romance, PK, Detective Bomkesh Bakshy. However, he garnered a lot of praise for playing the role of M.S Dhoni in Neeraj Pandey’s M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story.
Apart from being a prolific actor he was a dancer and was a philanthropist.
The news of Sushant’s demise came as a shock to the entire nation. From politicians, sports person to actors, condolences and messages have been coming from all ends.

Sushant was also known for his philanthropic activities, Earlier in 2018, Sushant donated Rs 1 crore to Kerela during floods. Later the actor donated Rs1.25 crore towards flood relief in Nagaland in 2018. He personally visited the state that time. CM Neiphiu Rio recalled his kind deeds for the state of Nagaland.

As per reports, Sushant was suffering from depression for the past few months, though police have not confirmed it. Meanwhile, Sushant’s body has been taken for post-mortem and the exact cause about his death could be revealed after that. Police are further investigating the matter.
