The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) today declared the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate, HSSLC examination results.
The pass percentage of students in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate, HSSLC exams for the Science stream is 72.24%, while the pass percentage of Commerce stream is 77.28%.
As per reports, St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong has swept the first ten positions in the examinations in both science and commerce streams.
A total of 3,566 candidates who appeared the HSSLC (science) examinations this year, 2,576 of them passed, whereas, in the Commerce stream out of 2,179 candidates who appeared the HSSLC (commerce) examinations, 1,684 of them passed.
Even though the re-opening of the educational institutions is still uncertain the State Government has allowed educational institutes to issue online admission free of cost.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma took to Twitter to congratulate the students.

A total of 12 students appeared in the Vocational stream exam this year, out of which 10 cleared the exam successfully. The pass percentage touched at 83.33 per cent
The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MPBOSE) will announce the result for Humanities stream this month. The date has not been decided yet
Students can check their results at the official websites, mbose.in, results.mbose.in, and megresults.nic.in
A total of 30,697 students had appeared in the plus two exams this year which was concluded in June, after it was deferred in March due to lockdown.
The pending papers on Mathematics, Physical Education, Statistics was conducted from June 8 to 10, 2020.
“The result booklet of the examination has been discontinued with effect from 2014. The whole results booklet can be downloaded from the MBOSE official website mbose.in,” the board release mentioned.
