Meghalaya’s veteran political leader H. S. Shylla passed away on Friday.
H. S. Shylla was a Former State’s Minister and Former Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC).
Offering condolences to Shylla’s family, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma tweeted, “Shri. H. S. Shylla was a remarkable statesman who stood his ground and who was always vocal about his opinion and views. He made valuable contributions to politics in #Meghalaya and his demise is a huge loss to our State. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.”
