At least four police personnel were injured after a car in Meghalaya Power Minister James Sangma’s convoy met with an accident in Assam’s Nagaon district on September 9.

According to reports, the accident took place in Nonoi area of Nagaon district when the convoy of the Meghalaya power minister was returning from Imphal to Shillong.

The injured police personnel were rushed to Nagaon civil hospital.

Meanwhile, police have confirmed that the Meghalaya minister escaped unhurt in the accident.
