Meghalaya Govt Decides to Reopen Tourist Spots for ‘Local Tourists’

The Meghalaya government on Wednesday has decided to reopen tourist places in the state for local tourists within the state effective 16th October.

The state government in an notification stated that strict safety and sanitization protocols will be enforced.

Earlier in September, three tourist spots was opened- Ward’s Lake, Elephant Falls and Lum Nehru Park on a trial basis.
