In an extremely unfortunate incident, a 92-year-old woman was burnt alive when her house caught fire.

The incident took place in No 1 Mirihola village of Moran in Dibrugarh. The woman, identified as Rajrani Singh was alone at home when the fire broke out.

She lives with her son but her son was out at work when the accident took place.

The cause of the fire is still not known.
