Lunglei Battalion of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a Friendly Volleyball Match at Vill  Saiha on Monday.

Keeping up the motto of Assam Rifles “Friends of the North East” the company extended its patronage to the Government officials and troops of District Headquarter Saiha.

A total of 7 players and 20 civilians of Saiha village participated in the match  and was witnessed by Local MTP, NGO president. Government Officials, Staff and Civil Administration expressed profound gratitude for under taking such an initiative and appreciated the continuous efforts and commitments of Assam Rifles in reaching out to people.
