The Kohima Police apprehended a 24-year-old man for duping people with the promise of offering jobs in the police department.
The person arrested has been identified as Ravozo Medeo, who was currently residing at Mission Compound, the Kohima Police informed on Monday.

As per preliminary investigations, it has been revealed that the accused person had issued fake appointment letters with forged signatures of certain high-ranking officers in Police Headquarters (PHQ) and that of the Superintendent of Police of a district.
A case has been registered at North Police Station and further investigations are being carried out.
