3 (Naga Hills) Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) and Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles conducted a “Medical Camp” at Kakichhua village by COB Zorinpui and Lomasu Village by
COB Tuipang on Saturday.

The aim of the medical camp was to provide free medical treatment to the local populace by a  specially constituted medical team of this unit. The team examined 73 patients besides distributing free medicines to the needy locals.

Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education including precaution from common viral disease like Malaria was also imparted. Emphasis on importance of hygiene and sanitation were explained to the villagers for better living standard.
