In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, 3 (Naga Hills) Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) and Headquarter
23 Sector Assam Rifles organized “COVID-19 Awareness Campaign” at Khaikhy Village by COB Lungpuk on Monday.

The aim of the drive was to create awareness in the local population about the prevailing COVID-19 situation. The campaign was mainly focused upon precautionary measures and DO’s & DONT’s during COVID-19 pandemic to avoid any loss of life due to COVID-19. The awareness campaign was attended by 18 villagers of Khaikhy village.

The efforts of Assam Rifles were well appreciated by village authorities and people for creating awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic. The villagers assured their support in the fight against COVID-19.
