Dhubri Police in Assam has arrested a man with two handmade bombs from his possession on February 25.
According to reports, the accused identified as Sameer Sheikh is a resident of Bidyapara in the Dhubri town.
Interestingly upon investigation, it was found that the accused made the bombs for self-defence.
In a tweet, the Dhubri Police wrote, “Today Evening we ARRESTED one Sameer Sheikh, 42 of Bidyapara, Dhubri and recovered 2 Hand Made Bombs from his house which he interestingly claims to have made for self-defense. Investigation is on!”
