Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East)  organised Volleyball match at COB Saiha  on Sunday.

The volleyball match was organised  keeping view the  ‘Fit India Movement’ aiming   to develop  and boost sportsmanship and hunt talented sportsperson amongst the local youths.

A total 20 local youths of Saiha Village participated in the match. Both the teams played valiantly and displayed exemplary standards of sportsmanship and team work and the match ended on a healthy note. Thereafter the youth were briefed on the importance of  physical fitness  and studies  for all round development of an individual .
