Just ahead of the Assam Assembly election 2021, the common citizens of India including the northeast will bear the burnt in their pockets with the rise of the price of non-subsidised liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder.
It is to be mentioned that just three days ago, the prices were hiked by Rs 25.
On February 25, the prices for cooking gas were hiked by Rs 25. It was the third hike in the month of February. Earlier, the prices were increased on February 4 and February 14.
In Guwahati the LPG price of a non-subsidised cylinder cost Rs. 843, however, now after the hike of Rs. 25 it will cost the common man Rs. 868 and the subsidy will remain constant at Rs. 52.
