In Maharashtra, a final year MBBS student was hospitalized on Saturday after he developed mild symptoms and tested positive for Covid-19 days after taking the second ‘Covishield’ dose.

According to reports, the student who is currently under a doctor’s observation said that even after getting the vaccine, immunity takes several days to develop.

Reportedly, the 21-years old final year student developed symptoms like mild fever and took a PCR test following which he was found positive for Covid-19.

Dr Balkrishna Adsul at Seven Hills Hospital said that it takes up to 45 days for the body to generate antibodies against the virus after all the doses of vaccine are administered.
