Nagaland’s 16-year-old leg-spinner Khrievitso Kense has been selected as a support player for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Nagaland Cricket Association, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and many others have congratulated cricketer Kense for being selected as a support player for Mumbai Indians (MI).
In a tweet the Nagaland CM wrote, “I’m happy to know that Khrievitso Kense is selected as a support player by @mipaltan for @IPL 2021 season. I wish him the best as he joins the team for pre-IPL prep. camp and be with them till the end of #IPL2021. I hope he plays a vital role in contributing to the team’s success.”

Deputy chief minister Y Patton tweeted: “Congratulations to Mr. Khrievitso Kense! Indeed, this is just the beginning. We’re all proud of him.”
