Popular Bhojpuri actor and BJP leader Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday claimed that the Indian National Congress will not be able to open their account at the ensuing assembly polls in Assam.

Taking part in an election rally at Lakhipur constituency’s Binnakandi and Borthol Tea Estate in Cachar district.

” Congress will fail to win a single seat in Assam this time. Why? As the party has betrayed the people of Assam by allying with the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) and we all know how the AIUDF has destroyed the history, language and culture of Assam,” Tiwari said.

Tiwari was in Assam to Campaign for Koushik Rai, who has been contesting from the  Lakhipur constituency.

“The BJP has worked for the people and the party will continue to do so in the future,” he added.
