Intoxicants will be strictly prohibited on the days of polling, re-polling and counting of votes during the Assembly election in the State.

According to the message, the strict prohibition will be in force. Possession of any intoxicants by any person or group of persons and sale of liquor or distribution of spirituous, fermented or intoxicating liquors or substances of a similar nature at hotels, public eating house, or any other public or private places within a period of 48 hours till the end of polling in any given area will be prohibited.
Such bans on intoxicating substances will be in force on the days of re-polling and counting of votes (May 2) as well.
The polling dates are March 27 in phase I, April 1 in phase II and April 6 in phase III.
