The NEEPCO has withdrawn power regulation in Meghalaya and there will be no more load-shedding in the state from 2 PM on Tuesday (March 23).
This has been confirmed by Meghalaya power minister James K Sangma.
In a tweet, Sangma wrote, “‘m happy to inform you that due to concerted efforts of Power Dept., CMD (MeECL) & constant support & guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister @SangmaConrad, NEEPCO has withdrawn Power regulation today. No more load shedding from 2 PM onwards.”

Further, Sangma said this has been possible due to the “concerted efforts” of the power department, the CMD of MeECL and the constant support & guidance of chief minister Conrad Sangma.
