In view of Making people aware of CLEAN INDIA AND GREEN INDIA, Aizawl Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 23 Sector Assam Rifles/ Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East),conducted a Cleanliness Drive at all forward far flunk Village Ngopa, Mimbung ,Kawlbem, N/Vaikhawtlang and Hnahlan on Thursday.

The aim of the cleanliness drive was to create awareness aiming the student and villagers about the necessity of cleanliness and its benefits.

The Swach Bharat Abhiyan was initiated by our honorable Prime Minister, to add a feather in the cap, all fwdCoys of 46 AR carried out a cleanliness drive. The drive was initiated by cleaning play grounds, streets, schools and roads with great zeal and zest. The events was org successfully with combined efforts made by the students, villagers and Tps of 46 AR. At the end, even a pledge was taken by all the students and villagers to keep our area and surroundings clean. Total 02 offrs,05 JCOs, 76 ORs and  114 villagers actively participated the cleanliness drive at various places.
