Ahead of the 2nd and 3rd phase of the Assam Assembly election 2021, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled seven more party leaders for six years for filing nomination papers as Independent candidates from various Assembly constituencies.

The party leaders, who have been expelled as primary members of the BJP, are Dipak Rabha, Dudhnoi constituency in Goalpara; Sailen Kalita, Dispur constituency in Guwahati; Santanu Kalita, Barkhetry in Nabari; Jyotirmoy Sarma, Dharmapur in Nalbari; Mubarak Hussain, Dhubri; Baleswar Rongpi in Guwahati West constituency and Narayan Das in Goalpara East.
