Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) chairperson Hagrama Mohilary has claimed that the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) will win at most 2 seats in the ensuing state assembly polls.

Addressing a public rally in Pathsala, the former Bodoland territorial Council (BTC) chief further claimed that the Congress-led grand alliance will come to power in Assam this time.

“Where Himanta Biswa Sarma will stay, I won’t be there. The alliance with whom I am allied, that alliance will form the government in Assam. I am with the Congress-led grand alliance and we will form the government in Assam this time,” Mohilary said.

Lashing out at BJP he said, “BJP thinks they will win over 100 seats. But trust me, they will lose several seats and will have a negative gain,” he added.

“The BJP government has created a Hindu-Muslim rift in the state and we have united everyone,” he further claimed.
