In the interest of public services, the Morigaon District Administration has declared April 1 (Thursday) as a public holiday in the district on account of the 2nd Phase of the general election to the Assam Legislative Assembly, 2021.

All the government, non-government offices, PRIs, urban local bodies, educational institutions and business establishments including banks, workshops, warehouses etc will remain closed.

Emergency services, however, will continue to function as usual.
