Congress candidate from Guwahati East assembly constituency Ashima Bordoloi is determined to make the constituency one of the best constituencies of the state.

Campaigning on Sunday, the last day of campaigning for the third and final phase of polls, Bordoloi said that she aims to make the constituency greener and cleaner.

“I am determined to address every issue, which the people here has been battling with for decades,” she said.

She said that she aims to provide clean drinking water, tackle the artificial flood problem, garbage disposal system and improve the sewage management system of the constituency.

She also said that she would focus on several environmental issues as well and said she will take up plans for rainwater harvesting and the use of solar energy in a better way.
