The senior secondary education department, Assam vide a notification has stated that summer vacation for the students of elementary, secondary, and senior secondary (Class 1 to Class 12) has been rescheduled from May 15 to June 14.

The vacation was earlier scheduled from July 1 to July 31.

The decision has been taken so that students do not suffer from any academic loss due to the prevailing pandemic situation.
