Child Trafficking Ring Busted In Baksa, Assam, Police Rescues 22 Minors

A gang of human traffickers was apprehended at Kumaritkata in Baksa District Assam in a police operation.
Reportedly the gang was preparing to secretly smuggle children and adolescents from different parts of the border to Gujrat.
In the operation, Assam police rescued 22 adolescents including children. The police team was led by the officer-in-charge of Kumarikata police officer Neelavjyoti Nath who was heading the search.
Two individuals involved in the human trafficking ring were apprehended during the operation
