Muslims too in Assam are celebrating this holy day with the rest of the world.
Celebrating the holy day of the Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham) sacrifice to Allah, followers of Islam from all over the world enthusiastically observe the traditional Eid-ul-Adha.
However, this time, the countrymen have to observe Eid-ul-Adha (Eid-ul-Azha) following Covid Protocols. For Assam, only five people can gather together to offer prayers.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma also greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Holy Eid urging them to pray while following social distancing norms.
