As curfew has been clamped in Shillong, to help those who got stranded, the Meghalaya Police has released a set of helpline numbers. Meghalaya Police has asked if anyone got stuck in a particular place due to curfew and needs any help can reach out to them through these numbers.

The Meghalaya government has decided to extend the curfew hours till August 18. At the same time, the 48 hours of internet ban starting from 6 pm August 15 in the state has been extended to 72-hours.
