Agartala, September 02, 2021: Recently, the Tripura Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb met the union Home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.
Shah directed the officials of Tripura govt and Centre to monitor the Brus rehabilitation process on a daily basis.
The Ministers discussed on the progress of permanent settlement of Brus in different parts of Tripura.
Deb during his two-day Delhi tour apprised the Home Minister with latest developments and progress.
He also sought the support of Home Ministry for completion of the process at the earliest.
The CM further informed that effective steps would be taken to ensure day to day monitoring of the under-implementation Bru pact.
“Held detailed deliberations during the review meeting chaired by Hon. Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah ji regarding rehabilitation process of Bru Reang displaced families in Tripura. Day to day monitoring will now be undertaken to ensure timely completion of rehabilitation process”, – tweeted by Deb.
Deb also assured that no stones would be left unturned to complete the process in record time.
Under the leadership of Hon'ble PM, Shri @narendramodi ji, a landmark decision was taken to resolve the 23 year old issue of permanent rehabilitation of Bru-Reang displaced families in #Tripura.
