Tripura To Train Youth In Adventure Sports In Himachal and Haryana

The Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (TTDCL) is all set to start training local youths in paragliding and paramotoring as adventure sports activities will soon begin in the state.

The TTDCL has invited applications from the youth to join the training who could later develop adventure sports-based employment opportunities.

TTDCL will be providing this training to the interested youth under the host of terms and conditions.

A total of 3 candidates will be selected for paragliding and 2 for paramotoring. The Location of the project paragliding will be at Jampui Hills and paramotoring at Chabimura and Neermahal.

The shortlisted candidates will be sent for training to be held at Bir Billing (Himachal Pradesh) and Sohna (Haryana).

The duration of the training will be of 3 months for paragliding  and may be extended depending on course requirements, while for paramotoring the training will be for 2 months and maybe extended depending on course requirements

Paragliding training will be done between 24 September to 24 December and for paramotoring: 25 September to 24 November.

However, the qualification requirements for the candidates are 10+2 passed with preference in science stream, fluent in English and Hindi with age admissible between 20 to 30 years.

The candidates must not have fear of heights and be physically fit with no medical history like heart disease, Asthma, etc. The candidates will have to produce the medical certificates, fitness test will be conducted to see if they can run 1.5 km without a break and other requirements.

Submission of an undertaking is mandatory along with the filled-up format. All interested candidates are invited to submit their Expression of Interest (Eol) by the prescribed format for this purpose on or before September 16 next.
