Days after the new group ULB announced in presence in a viral video on social media, two of its members were killed in an encounter in Kokrajhar in the wee hours of September 18.
According to reports Janak Brahma and Jaungsar Mushahari were killed at Langshung, Kokrajhar at the Indo-Bhutan border.
According to reports both of them were allegedly involved in extorting money for the newly formed Bodo insurgent group. Two pistols, eight hand grenades, and other items have been recovered from the deceased member’s possession.
