Recently, the Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) have directed the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) – the ruling party to start working on electoral promises.

During a press conference, the HSP party has demanded the ruling government to look after curbing corruption across the state, prior to culmination of its term.

“Tackling corruption with CBI was one of major electoral promises made by the SKM. It has been two and half years now and there is not even a word of CBI coming from the SKM government,” – asserted the HSP Chief spokesperson Biraj Adhikari.

“They should issue a white paper on CBI and give to the public. The government has already completed its half-time,” – added by HSP Spokesperson.

HSP further asserted to provide one more year but indications towards the aforementioned matter has been dissatisfying.

It added that SKM has failed to fulfill all election manifesto promises.

The party also spoke on recent episode regarding the ad-hoc teachers.

“The SKM had promised regularisation for adhoc teachers and it was a major agenda that boosted the party to form the government. However, the recent episode was disappointing wherein the party managed to create division among the adhoc teachers,” – asserted Adhikari.

HSP further asserted to file a case against the SKM Party, if it fails to fulfill election manifesto promises.
