Heralding a new era for vocational learning the Mizoram Youth Commission and Mizoram University on September 20, 2021, signed an MoU for the Online Learning and Online Programme of Skill Training organized by Mizoram University.
The MoU was signed between Mizoram Youth Commission Chairman, Dr.Vanlaltanpuia and Prof.Lalnundanga, Registrar of Mizoram University at Mizoram Youth Commission Conference Hall.
These online skill training can only be conducted by the top 100 Universities ranking by National Institute Ranking Framework.
As agreed in the MoU, the Mizoram Youth Commission will be sponsoring five Skill Training courses under Mizoram University’s Online programme for 2 years.
The basic courses in Marketing management and Information technology will be sponsored for 2 years. Various Certificate courses to be sponsored for 3 months are-
- Certificate in Computerized Accounting.
- Certificate in Advanced Digital Marketing.
- Certificate in Android App Development.
- Certificate course in GST.
All these Skill Development Courses shall be recognized by the University Grants Commission.
