Delhi University Admissions: The 100 percent club

At least 9 courses in multiple colleges under Delhi University will need 100 percent in class 12 exam for admission. The cut off list released on October 1, has many such surprises. For Journalism (Honours) the cut off mark is as high as 99 percent.

The courses which sought 100 percent are BA (H) Economic and BCom (H) in Sri Ram College of Commerce, BSc (H) Computer Science in Hansraj College, BA (H) Political Science and BSc (H) Physics in Ramjas College, BCom (H) in SGTB Khalsa College and BSc (H) Computer Science in Deen Dayal Upadhay College.

Strikingly, the Kamala Nehru College for Women has sought 99percent for Journalism (Honours). For admission in courses of Arts and Commerce numbers of best of four subjects including one language and the subject in which admission is sought is considered. For science courses percentage of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry Biology is calculated depending on the subject in which admission is sought.

DU will release at least 5cut off list in accordance with availability of seats. The admission on the basis of 1st list will start from October 4. These lists do not include prestigious Stephens College as it has separate admission procedure.
