Mizoram Registers Surge In Positivity Rate With 212 New Cases

Mizoram registered a total of 212 new COVID-19 cases, and two fatalities in the last 24 hours, as informed by the latest report of state Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR).

Besides, the daily positivity rate has been reported to be 19.31%, according to the information shared by state government at 7 AM today.

The active caseload now stands at 4746. While, a total of 1,31,897 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Mizoram so far. A total of 479 people have succumbed to the deadly infection.

A total of 1076 samples were tested on November 21, 2021, out of which 106 samples belonged to males, while 106 of females.

Furthermore, the total recovery rate in the northeastern state stands at 1,26,672. The official statement further adds that, no samples have been tested through RT-PCR, TrueNat or FIA. However, 212 new cases (19.31%) have been confirmed through Rapid Antigen Test (RAgT).
