Agartala, December 22, 2021 : Tripura government on Tuesday cleared proposals of appointing 35 medical officers (Dental), 1178 Panchayat Election Executive Officers, and three posts in the High Court.
In a press conference here in Agartala on Tuesday evening, cabinet spokesperson and ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the council of ministers took these decisions of appointing MOs and PEOs directly through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
“In a bid to augment shortage of dentists in the government hospitals, cabinet approved to appoint 35 MOs (Dental). Those doctors who were engaged in COVID duties would given priority in the recruitment”, he added.
Chowdhury asserted “In total, 1178 PEOs to be appointed in 1178 Panchayats and Village Committees will be Group-C non-gazetted officers. The pay scale will be Rs 5,700-Rs 24,000. The age will be from 18-40 years and five years relaxation will be given to SC, ST and persons with disabilities”.
“These posts were created for smooth and effective functioning of the Panchayat department”, he further added.
He said “In Tripura High Court, three posts had been newly constituted in the establishment sector of Court number five”.
