Tripura : CM’s Civil Service Awards Will Be Presented On Statehood Day

Agartala, January 20, 2022 : During the occasion of Statehood Day Celebrations on January 21, the Tripura government has decided to present Chief Minister’s Civil Service Awards for Excellence in Public Administration among departments, districts, gazetted officers, non-gazetted officers.

The ‘Chief Minister’s Civil Service Awards for Excellence in Public Administration’ will be awarded to 3 best performing Departments – National Health Mission (NHM), Finance and Forest Departments, 2 best performing districts namely – Sepahijala District and West District, 3 best performing Blocks – Ambassa and Salema blocks in Dhalai district, and Yubarajnagar in North Tripura district.

The recognition will also be presented to three Gazetted Officers for good performances – Bishwasree V, DM & Collector and Arindam Das, OC, O/o the DM & Collector, Sepahijala District (will be awarded jointly), Prasada Rao Vaddarappu, MD TRPC Ltd., Amit Sukla, CCF & S Soorya Narayan, DCF (will be awarded jointly). Moreover, 3-Non-Gazetted category for good performances – Sushil Debbarma, OS, GA (AR) department, Tapas Choudhury, Copier Machine Operator, Revenue Department and Prabir Chakma, Fishery Assistant, Fisheries Department.

The best performing Departments, Districts and Blocks will also receive a certificate and Trophy. In respect of Gazetted Officer & Non-Gazetted category for good performance, a certificate and cash Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively will also be presented.

The best performing departments i.e. National Health Mission will be awarded for the good performance on implementation of the scheme i.e. screening of children under Rastriya Bal Swasthya Karyakaram (RBSK) to improve the overall quality of life of children through early detection of 38 common health birth defects, disease, deficiencies development delays.

Finance department will be awarded for implementation of e-Abagari which was launched on  October 1, 2020 and the various services were integrated with e-Abagari portal.

Forest department will be awarded for implementation of Intensive plantation and water conservation including staggered contour trenching and mass awareness under Jal Shakti Abhijan (Jal movement through Jan Andolan).

The best performing districts and blocks will be awarded for implementation of centrally sponsored schemes i.e. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) and for implementation of various schemes at the Panchayat level.
