Nagaland : Contraband Substances Worth Rs 9 Lakhs Seized From Dimapur; 2 Held

In a major operation against drug menace, the security forces have recently nabbed two drug peddlers from general area Railway Station and Signal Angami in Dimapur District, Nagaland.

According to a press release issued by the Inspector General of Assam Rifles-North (IGAR-N), a troop of Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Nagaland Police, while acting on specific inputs apprehended two drugs dealers and recovered 24 Soap cases of Sunflower Drugs amounting approximately Rs 9.6 lacs and one lac in cash from the general area Railway Station and Signal Angami in Dimapur District, Nagaland.

Meanwhile, theseĀ apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to Government Railway Police Station (GRPS) Dimapur for further investigation.
