The anti-corruption crusader & Arunachal Pradesh-based activist – Sol Dodum’s protest rally in Itanagar have been postponed due to his severe health issues.
Dodum was immediately rushed to the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Itanagar on Thursday, after his health deteriorated while staging a protest at the tennis court.
His blood pressure suddenly spiked, putting him at risk of a stroke. As per doctors, the activist was reportedly exhibiting neurological signs.
Following medical emergency, Dodum was later transported to the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) hospital.
The protest march was scheduled to take place in Itanagar, with the goal of raising awareness about the need for safe drinking water in Seppa town.
According to reports, this rally was likely to begin from Tennis Court and culminate at the Raj Bhawan today. However, officials later requested that Sol Dodum adjust the course of their protest rally and conclude it at Akashdeep, citing VVIP visits to the Raj Bhawan.
