“Arunachal Yuva Samanvay (AYS) 2022” With Focus On Drug-Free Environment, Biodiversity Preservation Concludes

The extravagant fest “Arunachal Yuva Samanvay (AYS) 2022” – reflecting multifaceted tale of an unified land, culminated through a range of activities, great enthusiasm & widespread public engagement; with special focus on drug-free nature & biodiversity preservation.

In line with the 50th Golden Jubilee of Arunachal Pradesh and celebrating India’s freedom struggle themed on “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, this event marked performances of some eminent personalities – Papon, folk rockstar – David Angu, Rock/Blues band – AR01, among others.

The 4-days event aimed to promote the rich cultural heritage and fostering national integrity among youths.

It is the first-ever programme aimed at encouraging and promoting nationalism among the youths; and promoting cultural interchange among the 26 tribes and subtribes of the frontier state.

Organized by the Department of Youth Affairs; the key highlights of this event included – Folk Music, Folk Dance, Folklore, Adventure Sports, Paintball Game, Cyclothon themed on ‘Drug Abuse Awareness’, Forest Walk, Handicrafts, Yoga Sessions, Motivational Speeches, Painting & Photography, Workshops, and many more.
