The President of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) – Badruddin Ajmal has condemned the brutal assassination of a Hindu tailor in Rajasthan’s Udaipur; referring it as “un-Islamic and inhuman”.
Ajmal noted that “Islam and a true Muslim do not instigate or support violence or crimes.”
“I strongly condemn the killing as it is un-Islamic, inhuman, brutal and not acceptable in a civilized society,” Ajmal said in a statement.
Its worthy to note that two men, identified as – Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad, brutally killed the tailor – Kanhaiya Lal on June 28 and posted his videos online, claiming they are avenging a humiliation to Islam.
Ajmal remarked that none have the right to take the law into their hands.
“We demand a comprehensive investigation into the incident and that the criminals, regardless of their religion or community must be given the highest punishment under the requisite laws,” added Ajmal.
