The President of Nagaland Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and state Education Minister – Temjen Imna Along has gained immense attention for his remarks, regarding the advantages of having ‘small eyes’.

The video which is trending online, shows Along noting that although the northeastern Indians have small eyes, but everything is clearly visible from this.

The video of his speech is viral on social media platforms. However, the Nagaland BJP President once again won hearts because of his witty response to netizens searching his wife’s name on Google.

Taking to Twitter, Along remarked that “Ayalee, @Google search excites me. I am still looking for her!

However, on the ‘World Population Day’, Along asserted that “On the occasion of #WorldPopulationDay, let us be sensible towards the issues of population growth and inculcate informed choices on child bearing. Its worthy to note that ‘World Population Day’ is observed annually on July 11 to raise awareness about global population issues – a critical concern as the world’s resources are being used up at an unsustainable rate.
