Commemorating the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the Shamator Battalion of Assam Rifles today initiated an awareness lecture for educating students about the National Flag under the theme ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ at Government High School in Nagaland’s Shamator District.

During the awareness lecture, students were enlightened about the history of national flag, its importance and which all the occasion the national flag requires to be furled.

A total 120 students from Shamator High School participated in the lecture, followed by questions and answer session.

Meanwhile, the noble effort of the paramilitary troop was whole-heartedly welcomed by the parents of student, and teachers.
