The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) which has been demanding for a “Frontier Nagaland” since a long time, has announced to stage a public rally on August 4 along its seven tribal headquarters.
According to a press release issued by the ENPO President – R Tsapikiu Sangtam and General Secretary – Manlang Phom, “this rally will be the follow-up to resolutions adopted during ENPO Joint Consultative Meeting with the 7 Tribal Bodies and Talk Team on June 28 in the Tuensang Village.”
The Joint Consultative Meeting “unanimously reiterated the demand for Frontier Nagaland State and further resolved to hold public rally in all the seven tribal headquarters.”
