The Assam Chief Minister – Himanta Biswa Sarma today inaugurated the 3-days-long ‘Chintan Shivir’ at Kaziranga – a ‘brainstorming’ session for its ministers, legislators and senior officials; in order to deliberate on various issues of the state and determine a future course of action.
He was accompanied by the yoga guru & proponent of spirituality – Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, along with cabinet colleagues and senior officials of the Assam government. The session aims to deliver its desired benefits in charting out a roadmap for holistic development of Assam by 2026.
During the session, accomplishments of the Sarma-led state administration within the last one year will be assessed. In addition, a thorough future plan and a resolution to the problems now plaguing the state’s delivery system for development will be covered.
The senior government officials will also highlight the ongoing activities of the state government. It is also believed that the event is also significant for the preparation of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP is eyeing to win at least 11 seats.
