The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) today launched a first-of-its-kind ‘Book Donation Drive’ in Aizawl.
Launched by the Principal of IASE – Prof. Lallianzuali Fanai, this ‘Book Donation Drive’ will last throughout the month.
On the day of inaugural ceremony, the faculty and students of the institute donated books on various subjects.
Besides, several enthusiastic students and eminent citizens of the state have also expressed their hope to host more such similar endeavour in the near future.
The initiative has been undertaken by the institute to revive the reading culture among students and youth; thereby sharpening their views and knowledge through reading.
It aims to promote and ignite students’ interest towards literature through reading.
Furthermore, the Institute has invited people from all walks of life to donate books to the institution library; and the books received during the drive will be recorded meticulously and displayed at specified location in the library.
