Assam : ‘Fit India Freedom Rider Biker Rally’ Reaches Tezpur

The ‘Fit India Freedom Rider Biker Rally’ flagged-off by the Union Minister of Home Affairs & Cooperation – Amit Shah on September 9; has reached Assam’s Tezpur on Wednesday.

These motorcyclists travelling through a long distance of 18,000 km in 75 days and promoting the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations; aims to revive the immortal saga of unsung martyrs as well as inculcate the spirit of patriotism among the youth.

Meanwhile, the riders received a rousing welcomed by the Sonitpur MLA – Prithiraj Rabha and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) – Raj Baruah.

Altogether, 120 people, including 10 women is on a 75-day nationwide tour on 75 motorcycles as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

These motorcyclists will  travel through 34 States and Union Territories (UTs), including six international borders and travel to more than 250 districts, covering a long distance of 18,000 kms along 75 important locations and then return back to New Delhi on November 24.

The commendable effort will definitely strengthen national unity, taking forward the objectives of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ among the masses. This journey will also prove successful in conveying the message of ‘Fit India’ among the youth.
