The ‘Agniveer Recruitment Rally’ for the northeastern state of Mizoram has commenced at Aizawl from October 4, 2022. The registrations and application for this rally has already been completed and over 3800 candidates have applied.

The authorities at all levels are putting their hands together to make the event a success.

According to a press release issued by the PRO (Defence) – Lt Col Manish Shrivastava, “A fresh recruitment rally for Soldier Nursing Assistant and Soldier Nursing Assistant (Veterinary) is also being scheduled for the month of January 2023. Notification for the rally has been uploaded on the website of the Indian Army (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).”

The application for all the desirous candidates shall remain open from October 1 to 30, 2022.

Its worthy to note that the Indian Army has granted relaxation of two years with regards to the upper age limit for the candidates. Recruitment for this category will be as regular soldiers as per existing terms and conditions of the Indian Army.

“All the candidates are once again advised to beware of touts who make false promises and extort money from them. The recruitment is a fare and transparent process and no person can influence the outcome,” – the release further added.
