The Mizoram Home Minister – Lalchamliana today formally inaugurated the five days “Mid Career Training Programme (MCTP)” course for the officers of the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police (Dy. SPs), Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl. SPs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) of directly-recruited Mizoram Police Service (MPS) at the Auditorium Hall of Administrative Training Institute in Aizawl as its Chief Guest.
This course has been aimed to update the necessary professional skills and knowledge, management and leadership qualities and attitudes to discharge their responsibilities effectively and provide senior level leadership to police force.
Besides, the event witnessed the presence of Director General of Police (DGP) – Devesh Chandra Srivastava, IPS and other senior officials of Mizoram Police.
The course is being attended by total 32 MPS officers (5 Dy.SsP , 20 Addl.SsP and 7 SsP) from various units/districts and it shall continue till October 14.
