The senior Congress leader – Rahul Gandhi was spotted wearing a traditional “Ao Naga” waistcoat during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, which passed through Karnataka’s Chitradurga district on Wednesday.
Rahul Gandhi received the traditional waistcoat from the Vice-President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) – Supongmeren Jamir, who accompanied the Congress leader in Karnataka.
Taking to Twitter, the VP of Nagaland Congress – GK Zhimomi wrote “Proud to see Shri @RahulGandhi wearing traditional waist coat of Ao Naga tribe at #BharatJodoYatra today morning, as Shri S Supongmeren Jamir, Vice President of @INCNagaland walks alongside him.”

Its worthy to note that the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on Wednesday walked along with the families of people, who donated their organs, to emphasize the importance of organ donation.
About 30 ‘Bharat Yatris’, who are marching with the former Congress President have pledged their eyes for donation, the party said.
